Yellow Canvas is the link between the aspiring artists and their educator. Under the banner of ‘Yellow Canvas’, Sohan Kumar conducts many activities.
Art Classes & Workshops
- Art classes on regular basis are conducted through ‘Yellow Canvas’. Students are taught Art through various interesting mediums.
- Workshops are conducted in Mumbai as well as internationally; at Dubai in 2018 and at Hongkong in 2019.
Exhibitions & Competitions
- ‘Yellow Canvas’, has organized numerous Art Exhibitions and Competitions. These have been conducted at well-known art galleries such as Jehangir Art Gallery at Kala Ghoda, Nehru Center Art Gallery, Kumarswamy Art Gallery, Cymroza Art Gallery at Breach Candy, Easel Art Gallery at Juhu, etc.
- Art Exhibitions are organized to give platform to the students of Art. These events motivate the amateur artists and boost their confidence. Display of their creations makes them as well as their families proud of the achievements.
- Art Competitions are conducted to tap the potential of each student. It promotes healthy competition, and the desire to create the best portrayal.
Noble Work
- Sohan Kumar with his students redecorated the Grant Road Station in 12 days. Thus receiving Certificate of Honor from the Railway Ministry of India.
- Sohan Kumar with his students remodeled the Art Class, to create congenial atmosphere for the students to learn Art. This was not only a fun activity, but also a matter of pride and fulfillment.

Qualifications and Accomplishments
Sohan Kumar holds the degree of BFA, from the prestigious college, Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai.
SohanKumar, has learned and mastered Art in several mediums and avenues.
As an Art Trainer, he conducts many classes where Art education is imparted in several mediums.
His students consists of all ages – children to adults.
Artworks
As an artist Sohan Kumar has created innumerable works of Art with various mediums and themes. His Art works on ‘Nature and Its Colors’ are magnificent.
He has received accolades for his creations from eminent celebrities. His work has been admired and appreciated by distinguished personalities like Bharat RatnaLataMangeshkar, M.S.Dhoni, UddhavThakre and many more.

He has presented several types of Artworks, such as Abstract Art, Madhubani Art, Warli Art, Folk Art, Realistic Art, etc.
Several different mediums are used for these designs, such as Oil colors, Watercolors, Acrylic colors, charcoal, etc., to create beautiful Artworks.
